Indi's first camping trip :)

Yep, Indi came :). And he looved it. He was such a good boy. From the first night he was staying by my side, off-lead, the whole time everywhere with lots of dogs around. And when a BC called Faye came over he played with her! Indi, playing with a big dog?!?! Wow! He was so good and didnt attack one dog at all. He had a bark at a couple of dogs, like a big black lab and funnily enough the one that attacked him in the first place, but other than that he was super! What an improvement!
The place was beautiful too. The field we camped on was quite small, but there werent that many of us on it so it was big enough for short fields. Behind the field though there were beautiful valleys, woods and paths. So, we spent some time walking there and Indi and Ernie ADORED it! It was great just strolling along with Indi without the worry of keep putting him on the lead, and he had great fun running! There were lots of hills, lots of grass and some woods to go hiking through as well. It was just brilliant!
Indi also did some flyball and did the box for the first time. He wasnt as great as he could have been, but then it was very hot. He did the box though, and thats the main thing. He just needs to build his confidence up now :).
I do love my Indi, he sure is one very special dog. Of course, Ernie was there too and looved it, but he has very bad skin at the moment so needs to be kept out of the sun as much as possible. He came on our hikes though, and had great fun exploring the new surroundings :).
So all in all what a fantastic weekend! Good doggies :).

So here are some pics from the weekend. Hasnt Koko grown :).

Indi's first flyball demo :)

Well, on Sunday we went to a flyball demo, first one of the year, and Indi's first one since he was a puppy. I asked if I could try racing Indi instead of Ernie, and wow, Indi was amazing! There were no wings so he decided to go round the jumps instead of over, but once he saw that ball he was off. He was performing in front of a crowd, lots of new dogs around him and people. He forget all about them and was completely focused, knowing all he had to do was run. And he ran FAST! He was so focused, and was just having the time of his life. He forget all about everything else. There was also a stranger on the box, he was fine about a stranger holding him for the speed run and as long as she held that ball went running straight to get it! Good Indiana :).
However, Indi does have a urine infection. He went to the vets on Tuesday and got some antibiotics. If its not better by tomorrow, not only will he not be able to come camping with me and Ernie but he also may have bladder crystals and will need an injection if thats the case. So we just hope he is better.

Yep, were off camping tomorrow. No competition, just camping for fun. I really hope Indi can come as it will be Indi's first time camping. Ernie is coming, but has to wear the black coat (which is a wet towel basically) to keep the sun off his poor skin and to keep him cool. He doesnt mind:).

So for now, some photos from the demo, there was tonnes of dog walking space :). Plus a couple of photos of Kez. She is such a fun little dog, and we all love her :).

Summer update :)

Well lots to update on! Kez has settled in absolutely perfectly and is so much happier here. We went to an airshow and my nan had her for the day, but she hated it. She was so happy when she was back here. She comes to our local dog training class with me, and its doing her the world of good! Its also highlighted a few problems, like she hates handling. So got a lot of work to do. But we have lots of new tricks, and she is just a joy to train:).
Have to brag about Indi now. At flyball last weekend, he did absolutely brilliant. He was doing real flyball, going up, getting the ball and bringing it back. And the best part, he was fast! There were also lots of people standing around, other dogs working and he was completely focused and didnt pay any attention. He did run over to a little JRT at one point, but all he did was play. And I was just standing in shock, my aggressive dog playing with a dog he didnt know? It was the first time he'd done it since he was attacked, I was very pleased! We also went to agility yesterday, and Indi surprised me again. He was a bit funny with a few dogs, but agility-wise he was absolutely amazing. There were dogs all around and it was completely open, Indi was off-lead and was completely focused. He jumped AMAZINGLY! His weaves were absolutely stunning. The see-saw was another matter entirely, but he did it in the end. He didnt stop and just kept going, but he was FAST! He was probably the fastest dog there, I was amazed! His weaves were by far the best there and his jumping skills were absolutely superb. The trainer was also very impressed! But he was so focused, he forget about everything else and just RAN! And he really loved it.
So all in all, everythings all good! Got a busy few weeks coming up, a camping trip next weekend which is very exciting! So everythings good at the moment!

So for now, a picture of the red arrows at the show (pretty impressed with my photography skills:). And some pictures of Kez at the beach. She looks so happy:).
