Just an update...

Well as you can see Indi's clipped, and these are the after and before photos. They uploaded them the wrong way round, and cant figure out how to switch them. But hey, you get the idea =].
We also have a flyball competition tomorrow. Ernie is competing in starters, but my aim is to just have fun fun fun! Plus my nans looking after 2 Cocker Spaniels known as Pepper and Haize so they will be there too. Oh and of course its a day with little Koko too.
We are also very worried about Indi. He is peeing in his sleep, and peeing for very long and a lot on walks and in general. We think he may have a urine infection. Everything is just not going our way at the moment. So if he doesnt get better we shall be taking him to the vets in the week.
Oh and we've started agility! We went for the first time last week, took Ernie and he wasnt very fast but he was a bit unsure. He did the tunnel though, and he did a see-saw for the first time and was very confident and was very happy =]. He made lots of new friends too, so it was a fantastic socialisation experience for him too. His weaving was surprisingly good too, someone even commented on how good it was! Clever little Ernie =].

So for now, a cute little photo of Koko and the after and before photos =].

Summer appears

Well not much new to report. Indi's been clipped, so these photos you see are some of the last ones ever of Indi with long fur =].
Oh and lots of Border Collie puppies. Koko is growing up fast, and such a cutiepie. Some Border Collies that were bred at our flyball group, and were just way too cute to not take photos of ;).
The summer weather has made an appearance, thats why we had Indi clipped. Hopefully he will be much happier now. Ernie hates it, but were just walking as less in the sun as possible.
So for now some pics from the beach, flyball and of course PUPPIES!!

Evening sun =]

Well Lola's well on the road to recovery. So things are really starting to look up. Could be starting agility in a few weeks too, how cool is that! Plus, Spring is officially here with lots of sun, sun, sun! May have a flyball competition at the weekend too so we shall see what happens.

So for now some pics from the last 2 days. We've been walking later in the evening, enjoying the beautiful evening sun and so its quieter. I only want to socialise Indi around dogs I know so no further damage is done. =]

New tricks video coming soon too =]

Crazy Spring

Well lots to update on. First, on Tuesday we almost lost Lola. She wasnt in season but was dripping, we were very worried so took her straight down the vets. She'd been acting weird a while, we thought it was just her missing Max, but once this happened we knew it was more than that. In the end she ended up having a womb infection, and has not only been spayed but had her whole womb removed. We were very lucky, we could have lost her. She had to stay overnight, and that was awful, we had gone from 6 dogs down to 2 in a few weeks. But shes on the road to recovery now, shes not allowed to jump, run or anything, and she definantly disagrees with that =]. Were having a hard job stopping her jumping on the sofas, jumping at us when we come in and coming upstairs. Yeah, she sure does love to jump! But at least it shows shes happy and not letting it stop her. She is finally starting to act back to her normal Lola-self, and its great to see =].
Indi's doing great. He is now almost 100% trustworthy around small dogs. He still barks initially, and is very boisterous but is now no longer aggressive at all. I also did lots of training around the bigger dogs using treats, and it worked brilliantly! Before, he would just completely ignore treats on walks and around other dogs so this is an amazing improvement! He really is getting so much better and it really is starting to show!
Well we have a tonne of new tricks to show. Our main one is a hug trick, where Indi actually hugs Ernie =]. Its very cute! Indi has also got an absolutely amazing weave using the fence, its fantastic! He goes right ahead and I cant keep up with him! Other good news:- we may also be starting real agility soon as my nans trying to get us into agility class! =D.
So, now things are finally returning to normal. So for now, here are some pics taken down the beach today and Lola, the day after her op. Looking very sad. Poor girlie!
